We specialize in custom bird control, to help keep your tenants, staff, and building safe from health risks. We utilize a hand-held laser device that provides a convenient, effective, and humane approach for bird removal from areas where they are not wanted. The original device was developed for military use; it had shown anecdotal evidence of scaring birds away when the laser happened to be targeted in their direction.
The product manufacturer then developed a laser designed for bird control and tested it in conjunction with the USDA/APHIS/WS Wildlife Research Center in Sandusky, Ohio (testing funded by FAA). The results of that testing, both penned and field, show that the laser device is highly effective on most aquatic, wading and night flying birds for effective bird removal.
Since aquatic, wading and night flying birds’ eyes are coated with a film (or oils depending on species) to protect them from the UV rays of the sun, the laser will not harm their ocular (vision) system (it is not powerful enough to cause burns).
Most encouraging is that both penned and field-testing has not shown any tendency of the birds to learn to ignore the laser.
Field-testing has shown that consecutive use of the laser at night to deny for bird removal has a substantial impact on subsequent daytime and nighttime population.

This is the largest pigeon trap our manufacturer offers, and the only one that is assembled with ONE special recessed trap door constructed of hanging steel wire bobs. (Their other pigeon traps have two trap doors.) The unique slanted design of the repeating door encourages pigeons to move forward and enter the trap as they eat the grain. The special trapping mechanism of the door automatically resets after each bird is caught, and prevents the trapped pigeons from escaping. A convenient release door is located on the top of the trap. HOW DOES IT WORK?
The area where our pigeon trap will be placed will be pre-baited for several days before by restraining the trap door from closing. Grain, cereal, fig bars, or dried bread will be used. The pigeons will become familiar with their new eating spot, walking in and out of the trap. After the pigeons become comfortable with the trap, the doors will be set to release, capturing the pigeons one by one. This is a very straightforward pigeon control method.
